It’s all about passion for people!
Since the early years of my life, I have experienced some significant life changing encounters that have profoundly changed my view on life. These metamorphic happenings and my transformative research combined with more than 20 years of work experience with sales professionals, led me to discover something early in life.
I was driven by a keen desire to decipher my own motivation. I wanted to strengthen my will to survive any adverse circumstances with a positive attitude, irrespective of what fate threw at me. I have learnt a lot of valuable lessons.
The experiences and my personal resolve dramatically changed my life and created the passionate foundation of my inclination towards working with and among people.
For me, it has always been about people. “Human behaviour” has always been my key interests and I have always been fascinated with what really makes us tick, underneath the thick layers of assumptions, inner self-talk and other self-inflicted filters between thoughts and action.
I, can truly feel my soul move, with every word of Victor Frankl:
“Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms—to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.”
This is my mantra and I want you as an individual to feel the strong force of motivation that runs deep inside your body and in the remote corners of your mind. Dig it out and let it stimulate you into action. Why? Because I truly know what it can do to you and what it can make you achieve.
Through expansive and hundreds of coaching sessions and motivational speeches/pep talks spanning over the last 10 years, I’ve been blessed with an insight of what really matters to people
With an inspirational application of my own motivation for what I do, in combination with professional tools like coaching, mentoring and other proven methodologies, I promise to ignite your motivation that can take you to that dream, that goal, that passion – you always have been hunting for – this applies to you as an individual or for you as an organisation.
“There is no passion to be found playing small – in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living.”
– Nelson Mandela
This is why
I grew up in a religious environment and throughout my growing years, I was exposed to many religious and spiritual activities that taught me a lot about fear. From a very young age, fear was a big part of my life, fear of not being good enough, fear of God’s anger, fear of death.
In addition to that, I was under the pressure of living up to the expectations of my parents. Also, the religious community, expected from me to dedicate my full life to God as a missionary and an elder. For many years, I was struggling with despair and bad conscience. I had dreams that were not in congruence with the expectations of my parents and community, dreams of becoming something bigger, satisfying my inner purpose for greatness and happiness.
Coming out of my teens, I really got more than just a flavour of living on the dark side. I got seriously sick, four times, between the ages of 19 to 28.
As I laid sick in bed, with a possibility of potentially dying or never walking again, I was filled with mountains of desperation, sadness and despair. But I soon discovered something empowering. In my search, to find sense and meaning, I uncovered the supreme power of the mind. I realized that my physical state did not have to impact my mind-set and my state of mind. I started to disconnect my physical body from my state of mind under these extreme and excruciating circumstances. I discovered a new fountain of strength that empowered me to be positive, despite my inherent knowledge that my life could end or I would have to live the rest of my life in a wheelchair.
I uncovered that the power of your mind can heal. That you cannot disconnect your body from your mind as they are intrinsically linked. But the ultimate truth is that you can control it. The experience taught me that having a positive state of mind exudes a healing effect. Through my self-motivation radiating from a positive mind, I found a perennial source to fight and never back down in any circumstances.
Through this moving life experience, I found a passion for understanding and embracing other people, to help others find their inner motivation to strength, empowerment and positiveness.
And this is why I don’t have a job – I have a mission!
